Set up volunteers

The truck bringing the guest's beds and belongings arrives between 11:30 and noon. Set up volunteers unload the truck, take the contents downstairs and set up the beds and rooms for the guests. This includes posting welcome signs, making up all beds, setting each guest's room up to be as comfortable as possible and providing a set of bathroom supplies for each guest. This work takes about an hour and a half to complete.

GUIDELINES FOR ALL HOSTS:
• Enjoy yourself; we are entertaining guests in our church home.
• Please wear a name tag to make it easier for the guests to identify you.

• Be aware of and avoid potential hurtful reminders to the guests of the things that they do not have.
• The schedule is not intended to be rigid – be flexible and sensitive to special needs and opportunities.
• If physical violence is threatened, call 911, immediately, without hesitation.
• If you observe child abuse, you must call 911.
• Do not give money to guests.
• Always follow the Uniform Health Code guidelines.
